Got a call tuesday that my mom had won a prize on the shop hop we did 2 weeks ago here in Michigan. They didn't give us details so we were surprised what was inside the bag!!! I hit the jackpot! Thank you to all the shops and designers that participated!!!
Introducing Drew Thomas, my second grandson! This one is my daughters, its alot different watching and participating when your daughter is having the baby! They put those little hats on them when they are born, of course grandma got bored and had to embroider his name on his. lol.
I finished a couple new altoid tins as well as a pin cushion. The pin cushion is filled with lizard liter, or crushed walnut shells. It feels like emory, very nice and it was easy to work with. I bought a huge bag at the pet store for about $9.00. The shop hop was fantastic, I spent about $230, my goal was $200. Oh well whats a bit extra when dealing with cross stitch stash? Here are a few pics of my goodies I got and the completed altoid tins I finished. We did 3 shops on saturday and the last 2 on Monday then went out to the lighthouses along Lake Michigan. It was a beautiful day!
I am addicted to crafts of any type. I knit, cross stitch, quilt and will try just about any type of crafty thing at least once. I'm married and have 2 grown children. I am currently working on a quaker carnation sampler and about 4 other samplers also.
