A Shop Hop and some finishes

I finished a couple new altoid tins as well as a pin cushion. The pin cushion is filled with lizard liter, or crushed walnut shells. It feels like emory, very nice and it was easy to work with. I bought a huge bag at the pet store for about $9.00. The shop hop was fantastic, I spent about $230, my goal was $200. Oh well whats a bit extra when dealing with cross stitch stash? Here are a few pics of my goodies I got and the completed altoid tins I finished. We did 3 shops on saturday and the last 2 on Monday then went out to the lighthouses along Lake Michigan. It was a beautiful day!

Kim what and interesting filling, I had never thought to use something like litter. Gives me paws (pun intended) for thought.

I just found your blog and will add it to my google reader! I love the projects you are working on, especially the tins! I have seen a lot of the tins but none like yours. Your ideas for the inside are amazing! May I ask how you added the bottle cap with the cat inside and what the orange thing is in there with it? I LOVE cats and would love to make something like yours. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I need to be motivated to stitch again, as I have not been able to in quite a while.
